Manning Kass is proud to announce the creation of our new Constitutional Policing Team!
The Constitutional Policing Team is designed to assist law enforcement agencies in developing up-to-date policies and procedures based on current constitutional trends to avoid lawsuits from ever happening. The practice group will be led by highly sought-after police defense attorneys: Founding Partner Eugene P. Ramirez, Los Angeles Partner Louis W. Pappas, Los Angeles Partner Mildred K. O’Linn, and Los Angeles Senior Counsel Avi Schild. In addition, the firm is enlisting some of the top police practices and corrections experts across the country to assist the firm’s attorneys and act as a resource in developing agency-specific protocols.
Members of the Constitutional Policing Team have handled matters on behalf of numerous law enforcement agencies throughout California, as well as the states of Nevada, Arizona, Washington, Oregon, New York, Pennsylvania, Massachusetts, Connecticut, and Missouri. This team is at the forefront of defense of police civil rights cases, bringing decades of experience in defense of allegations of excessive force, high-speed pursuits, false arrests, officer involved shootings, and in custody deaths.
