Congratulations to Los Angeles Partner David R. Ruiz on his inclusion in the Los Angeles Times Business to Business Publishing list of 2023 Diversity, Equity, Inclusion, & Accessibility (DEIA) Visionaries.
This list highlights professionals across the legal, financial, and other corporate sectors for their continued work in promoting diversity in their own firms and companies. It also recognizes these visionaries for establishing equitable and inclusive environments in their communities.
Mr. Ruiz works extensively in the LGBTQIA+ community and acts as a pillar of support for numerous organizations. He currently sits on the National Board of Directors for the Lambda Legal Education & Defense Fund, the premier legal advocacy organization advocating for the LGBTQIA+ community and individuals living with HIV. Mr. Ruiz also previously served as Co-President of the LGBT Bar Association of Los Angeles, and was Co-Chair for the 2019 Lavender Law Host Committee for the National LGBT Bar Association, which featured a record 1700 attorneys at their conference.
