Los Angeles Associate Hannah L. Ellenhorn’s excellent oral argument skills secured a dismissal in a negligence action brought against our client, USA Boxing. The plaintiff filed the claim after suffering a traumatic brain injury in a sanctioned fight. In a unanimous decision, the Court ultimately granted Ms. Ellenhorn’s motion to dismiss as plaintiff’s registration materials with USA Boxing had a “choice of forum” provision, mandating that the action be brought in Colorado.
