Max C. Warren

Associate

Max Warren is an Associate at the Los Angeles Office of Manning Kass. He is a member of the Governmental Entity Liability team.

He earned his Bachelor of Arts at Kenyon College, where he majored in History. Mr. Warren received his Juris Doctorate from the University of California College of the Law, San Francisco, formerly known as the University of California, Hastings College of the Law. He was a board member for their nationally ranked Moot Court team, and was named Student of the Year, Honorable Mention, for the 2022-2023 academic year. In 2022, at the UC Hastings David E. Snodgrass Moot Court Competition, he was nominated for Best Oral Advocate. He was awarded Best Brief and Semi-Finalist at the Asylum & Refugee Law National Moot Court Competition in 2022. Mr. Warren also served as a student coach in the McGee Civil Rights Competition, where his team reached the finals at the 2023 tournament.

He served as a judicial law clerk for the Honorable Danielle Douglas and Wendy Coates at the Superior Court of California, County of Contra Costa. Mr. Warren also worked as an extern and law clerk at the District Attorney’s Offices in the counties of San Mateo and Napa.

Before joining the firm, Max worked as a Deputy District Attorney at the Tulare County District Attorney’s Office. As a District Attorney, he conducted numerous jury trials, including serious and violent felonies, and one trial involving interstate transportation of approximately 6,000 fentanyl pills for sale. Mr. Warren is currently admitted to the California State Bar.
