Manning Kass Team Earns Two Victories
Congratulations to the Manning Kass Strategy, Writs, and Appeals team, who earned two victories surrounding the same incident. The case revolved around an automobile accident and the actions taken by the plaintiff in the following years. The plaintiff was in a rear-end accident with an ambulance on Interstate 280. The ambulance was transporting a patient from one hospital to another and an EMT was in the rear of the ambulance attending to the patient. The driver and defendant was an employee of ProTransport-1, LLC at the time of the accident. The plaintiff sought medical treatment within 10 days of the accident and no further immediate action was taken.

Workers’ Compensation Team Earns Defense Verdict On Several Claims
Manning Kass earned a defense verdict on several workers’ compensation claims for our client. The case involved six years of litigation over several claims and multiple trial dates. The initial case revolved around an incident in a workplace in 2014. The plaintiff sustained an injury while working as a caregiver in 2014 to his lumbar spine, cervical spine, and bilateral shoulders. The plaintiff and his employer entered into a Stipulations with Request for Award settlement which was filed in November 2016.

Both women were recognized as nominees for the Inspirational Women Leadership Awards and received a spotlight in the magazine, along with their fellow nominees.
