Dennis Kass to Present Case Study in a Featured Session During IASIU's Annual Seminar

Founding Partner and Special Investigations Unit (SIU)/Insurance Fraud Litigation Team Leader Dennis B. Kass will present a case study on the life cycle of affirmative SIU litigation during a featured session at the International Association of Special Investigation Units (IASIU)'s Annual Seminar next month. Co-presented with Steven Walden, SIU Major Case Director for CNA Financial, the session will examine two cases of affirmative litigation and present both client and counsel's knowledge and experience of the process from inception to final resolution. The session will kick-off the second day of the online conference on Tuesday, September 15.

Founded in 1984 by insurance fraud investigators, the International Association of Special Investigation Units (IASIU) is a non-profit organization whose mission is to bring the world's fraud fighting community together through education, awareness and networking. Their Annual Seminar and Expo is the largest annual gathering of SIU professionals in the world and advances their vision of industry excellence by providing education and training for investigators of insurance fraud, developing greater awareness of the insurance fraud problem and promoting a coordinated effort within the insurance industry to combat fraud.

Mr. Kass leads the firm's Complex Litigation Practice Area, which focuses on affirmative litigation cases involving insurance fraud, first and third party special investigation defense, high exposure and catastrophic personal injury matters, mass torts, transportation litigation and class action defense. He serves as co-counsel for IASIU and counsel for IASIU's Southern California chapter, and was previously honored as the chapter's Defense Attorney of the Year and awarded the IASIU Outstanding Service Award by the national organization.
