Eugene P. Ramirez and Tony M. Sain Named 2019 Top Litigators and Trial Attorneys by the Los Angeles Business Journal

Congratulations to Los Angeles Founding Partner Eugene P. Ramirez and Partner Tony M. Sain for being recognized as 2019 "Top Litigators and Trial Attorneys" by the Los Angeles Business Journal. This selection is a testament to their litigation skills, recent successes, and their continued service to the public sector in Los Angeles county and beyond.

Mr. Ramirez has been profiled in the California Lawyer Magazine for his law enforcement defense work, and been honored with a Lifetime Achievement Award from the Association of Los Angeles Deputy Sheriffs (ALADS). He was selected as the Los Angeles County Sheriff's Department’s Trial Lawyer of the Year in 1993 and 2006, by two different Sheriffs, and is frequently invited to speak to law enforcement agencies across the United States on use of force, handling high profile cases and risk management issues. Mr. Ramirez has also been named to the distinguished American Board of Trial Advocates (ABOTA), an award only bestowed upon proven trial attorneys.

Mr. Sain practices on the Governmental Entity Liability Team defending public agencies and officers in civil rights actions and employment cases, as well as other clients in general litigation, including the defense of other public and private entity tort cases and entertainment-related matters. Mr. Sain has successfully defended our clients as a lead trial attorney in several jury and administrative trials on police/civil rights or employment cases, and he has also served as a pro bono prosecutor in trial for Los Angeles District Attorney’s Office.
