Los Angeles Partner Brian T. Moss and Senior Attorney Karen Liao recently obtained a defense verdict in an elder abuse and neglect case at trial in Los Angeles.
The case involved a plaintiff seeking over $2.5 million in a wrongful death suit due to alleged neglect at our client’s residential care facility for the elderly in 2018. Following a 15-day trial, the jury deliberated for a short three hours before ruling 12-0 in favor of the defense.
