Chandra A. Carr is an Associate in the San Francisco office of Manning Kass. She is a member of the Insurance Coverage / Bad Faith, Landlord / Tenant / Habitability, Premises Liability, and Sports, Recreation, and Attractions Law teams.

After law school, Ms. Carr did pro-bono work for the Legal Aid Foundation of Santa Barbara County, mostly in landlord-tenant law on the tenant’s side. She eventually was hired by the organization and worked in non-profit law for the next year and a half, until coming to San Francisco. Once there, she worked in landlord-tenant law in the area of public housing. Afterward, she worked for Mercury Insurance for just over a year doing auto-insurance defense on motor vehicle accidents.

Ms. Carr earned her Juris Doctor from the Santa Barbara College of Law. She received her Bachelor of Arts degree in Philosophy from Southern Methodist University. She received additional degrees in Art History and Fine Art, which were partially completed while studying in Paris, France. During those studies, she worked as a liason for the National Museum Organization and the Louvre.
