Jessica L. Becerra is an Associate in the Orange County office of Manning Kass. She is a member of the Appellate Law (Strategy, Writs, and Appeals) team (SWAT). 

Prior to attending law school, Ms. Becerra graduated with honors from the University of California, Irvine with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Political Science and a minor in History. Following her time at UC Irvine, Ms. Becerra attended law school at Pepperdine University School of Law. Ms. Becerra also received a Certificate in Dispute Resolution from the Straus Institute for Dispute Resolution. During her time at Pepperdine, she was the Managing Editor of Pepperdine’s Dispute Resolution Law Journal, had her journal article, "The Possibility of Using Alternative Dispute Resolution for Election Law Disputes", published in Volume XVIII of the Pepperdine Dispute Resolution Law Journal, served as a Co-Chair of the Pepperdine Law Honor Board, and was an Assistant Resident Director for Pepperdine University Housing and Residence Life. 

As a law student, Ms. Becerra was a judicial extern for the Honorable Mark Houle in the United States Bankruptcy Court for the Central District of California and a law clerk for a workwear manufacturer and distributor. Prior to joining Manning Kass, Ms. Becerra represented plaintiffs in class actions, product liability, mass torts, business fraud, and consumer protection litigation.
