Michelle Martin is a Partner in the Los Angeles office of Manning Kass. She is a member of the Special Investigations Unit / Insurance Fraud Litigation team.

Ms. Martin is a member of the Complex Litigation team. She focuses on affirmative litigation cases involving insurance fraud, and first- and third-party special investigation defense. Prior to joining Manning Kass, Ms. Martin's practice centered on complex domestic and cross-border commercial disputes, as well as international fraud, asset recovery, and judgment enforcement litigation. She handled matters involving sovereign and commercial entities in Federal and State courts and in arbitration. Ms. Martin represented both plaintiffs and defendants, including foreign government agencies, as well as U.S., European, and South American corporations in multi-million dollar financial fraud matters.

Ms. Martin has substantial experience in all aspects of domestic and cross-border litigation from intake through final disposition at trial, as well as post-judgment proceedings, including asset tracing.

Ms. Martin received her Juris Doctor, Master's Degree in Business and Financial Law, and Master's Degree in International Business Law from the University of Paris XI Jean Monnet School of Law in Paris, France, and her Master of Laws from Fordham University School of Law.

Ms. Martin is fluent in English and French.
