Sophie O. LaFranchi is a Partner in the Los Angeles office of Manning Kass. She is a member of the Premises Liability, Product Liability, Professional Liability, and Trucking and Transportation teams. 

Prior to joining Manning Kass, Ms. LaFranchi worked at several different firms throughout California and Arizona, providing civil defense representation in both state and federal courts. In managing those cases, she worked for and with both private and public clients across a broad range of subject matters, including premises, products, motor vehicle and professional liability, as well as other general complex liability. 

She has also worked extensively in the transportation field defending companies or other entities involved in the commercial trucking, train, and bus service industries. In defending hundreds of cases over her career, Ms. LaFranchi has developed and honed a diverse set of litigation skills that serve her well in her current practices.
