About the Role

 

We are seeking a highly organized, detail oriented Paralegal to join our Complex Litigation team.  This role involves large, multi-party cases, involving discovery, production of documents, review of evidence and more.  The ideal candidate should possess excellent organizational skills and have experience working on high exposure  matters.  Experience in handling large cases in areas such as class action, construction defect, toxic torts are a plus. 

 

 Responsibilities

 

• Conducting legal research on relevant statutes, regulations, case law, and jury verdicts.
• Summarizing case documents including document productions, expert reports, and deposition transcripts.
• Preparing trial binders and exhibits.
• Subpoenaing records, including preparing and serving subpoenas and following-up on productions.
• Propounding & responding to discovery.
• Maintaining files, including keeping track of discovery deadlines.

 

Experience

 

• 3-5+ years of litigation experience. 
• Paralegal certification from an ABA approved school. 
• Trial experience preferred. 
• Excellent time management skills and ability to manage and meet deadlines. 

 

Company Offers

 

• Salary starting at $70,000 - $105,000. Salary is commensurate with experience.
