Attorney Daniel Sullivan Exceeds Client Expectations

Congratulations to Daniel Sullivan, who obtained a successful outcome for the firm's client on March 18, in an admitted rear end liability case wherein defendant was following too closely and unable to come to a complete stop as traffic suddenly slowed and merged to one lane due to construction. While plaintiff had requested six figures in damages, medical specials, future damages and other costs, the jury awarded less than ten percent of the requested total. This result was obtained despite the fact that the plaintiff was a highly likeable veteran of two wars and plaintiff's counsel is well-known.

Mr. Sullivan's strategy was to emphasize the discrepancies between the plaintiff's claims and the actual, objective evidence of damages incurred. The trial lasted one week and the jury deliberated approximately three and a half hours.
