Defense Verdict in High Exposure Paralysis Case

On Thursday, July 21, 2016, Los Angeles partner Tony M. Sain and associate Lucas E. Rowe obtained an unanimous defense verdict against a high profile plaintiff's attorney in Riverside Federal Court. The plaintiff became paralyzed from the waist down after an encounter with the San Bernardino Sheriff’s Department. In today's political climate, in which peace officers are under increasing scrutiny over use-of-force incidents, the victory is all the more hard-won.
