Jean Cha Elected 2nd Vice President of the Association of Discipline Defense Counsel (ADDC)

Los Angeles Associate Jean Cha was recently elected 2nd Vice President of the Association of Discipline Defense Counsel (ADDC). Ms. Cha is a former Deputy Trial Counsel in the Office of Chief Trial Counsel of the State Bar of California of 13 years in Los Angeles, CA. Ms. Cha has handled every type of case the OCTC handles. In her new position she aspires to continue to liaise for the organization and work with the State Bar in developing a greater ADDC presence in major ethics decision-making opportunities. In 2018, Ms. Cha represented the ADDC on the State Bar Discipline Standards Committee in light of the new and modified Rules of Professional Conduct, effective November 1, 2018. Recently, Manning & Kass hosted the ADDC Annual Meeting in the Los Angeles office, on January 11, 2019, with a special segment joined by the CA State Bar OCTC Management Team.

The ADDC is the bar association for lawyers who represent lawyers and others in disciplinary, admissions, and regulatory proceedings before the State Bar of California and the California Supreme Court.
