Jeffrey Lenkov to Present on Traumatic Brain Injury Litigation at Marsh’s 2019 Higher Education Consortia Summit

On November 7, Professional Sports Law Team Leader Jeffrey M. Lenkov will present and lead a discussion on Traumatic Brain Injury (TBI) and related litigation at Marsh’s annual Higher Education Consortia Summit in Napa, CA. The Summit brings together representatives from colleges, universities and university systems from among Marsh’s insureds to discuss common liability matters facing higher educational institutions and learn from attendee experiences. As a leading national expert in TBI litigation, Mr. Lenkov was invited to contribute his expertise to this prestigious event.

Mr. Lenkov has spent more than two decades litigating on behalf of prominent domestic and international companies including major airlines, as well as business owners, professional sports franchises, world class athletes, celebrities, and international sports agencies. He is a certified players' agent with the National Hockey League Players Association (NHLPA) and represents athletes and sports announcers. Mr. Lenkov serves as a consultant on a range of risk management issues, including concussion protocol, and is recognized as an expert on TBI issues.

Mr. Lenkov’s significant appellate experience includes a recent win at the California Supreme Court in Nalwa v. Cedar Fair. This is a seminal case in determining the scope of liability and the assumption of risk for injuries resulting from recreational activities.
