Liz Murphy Speaks at Orange County Home Care Council Meeting

In 2014 Governor Brown signed a new law that will require ALL CALIFORNIA EMPLOYERS to provide accrual of company-paid sick days to ALL employees: full-time, part-time, per-diem and temporary. Home Health Agencies and non-medical home care providers with large numbers of field employees are facing huge burdens and legal consequences for non-compliance. This new law takes effect July 1, 2015.

On January 21, Manning & Kass partner Liz Murphy will discuss the new mandatory sick pay law, AB 1522, at an Orange County Home Care Council Meeting.
