Manning & Kass Hosts CLM Los Angeles Event

On Thursday, November 9, Manning & Kass hosted the CLM Los Angeles Chapter education and networking event, “The Ethical Paradox of Entertainment vs. Risk in Sports.” Jeffrey M. Lenkov lead a presentation discussing how to reconcile issues of cost and entertainment with public safety. The presentation included discussion of the history of sport litigation involving issues that span from commerce to public interest, and concluded with the most recent debate of traumatic brain injury, assumption of risk, and waivers.

Mr. Lenkov is a partner who Manning & Kass’s Entertainment Law, Professional Sports Law, and Retail, Restaurant and Hospitality Teams. He is a certified players' agent with the National Hockey League Players' Association (NHLPA) representing athletes and sports announcers. The CLM is the largest professional association in the insurance industry with a membership of more than 35,000 professionals in the claims resolution and litigation management industries.
