Premises Liability Defense Verdict Secured by Orange County Office

Brian Moss, the managing partner of the Orange County office of Manning & Kass, prevailed this month in a seven day jury trial wherein plaintiff made claims of Reflex Sympathetic Dystrophy Syndrome and fibromyalgia allegedly exacerbated by a slip and “alleged” fall caught on security camera.

The plaintiff requested the jury award $175,000.00 against our client, a Fortune 50 company.  Despite employees being seen in the area just seconds prior to the incident, the jury returned a defense verdict in less than 40 minutes.  A cost bill is being filed pursuant to a 998 offer.
