Reversal in Medical Fraud Case

On Friday, January 22, 2016, the Fourth District Court of Appeal, Division One issued an order reversing a court order which had previously dismissed a qui tam action and a separate order that had bound the clients to discovery responses provided by a prior firm. Dennis B. Kass took over this matter from another firm and was immediately faced with a motion for summary judgment by one of the medical providers. Stunningly, this reversal was issued just eleven days after Mr. Kass’ oral arguments. 

Mr. Kass, a founding partner, is known worldwide as a tireless advocate in the fight against insurance fraud. He currently serves as elected co-counsel for the International Association of Special Investigation Units (IASIU) national organization, a non-profit organization dedicated to combating insurance fraud.
