Bear Allen-Blaine is an Associate Attorney in the Los Angeles office of Manning Kass. She is a member of the Appellate Law (Strategy, Writs, and Appeals) team.
Ms. Allen-Blaine focuses her practice on high-stakes, complex litigation matters, including special investigations, insurance fraud, whistleblower actions, governmental entity liability, transportation and trucking, and business litigation. As embedded appellate counsel, Ms. Allen-Blaine handles cases from initial law and motion through trial and appeals.
Ms. Allen-Blaine graduated from the University of California, Los Angeles with a Bachelor of Arts in English Literature with a concentration in Creative Writing and a minor in Theatre. She was a member of the Policy Review Board, Housing Appeals Board, External Vice President of the On-Campus Housing Counsel, and played intramural volleyball. She received her Juris Doctor from Pepperdine University School of Law and her Master of Public Policy with an emphasis in American Politics from Pepperdine University School of Public Policy. She was awarded the Dean’s Excellence Scholarship and the Maurice Stans Endowment Scholarship. She participated in the Special Education Advocacy Clinic and interned in the Victim’s Impact Unit of the Los Angeles District Attorney’s Office in Compton. She also volunteered for the National Lawyers Guild, Los Angeles chapter, where she mediated panels and taught Constitutional rights clinics to students.
She is an advisory board member of her local residents association and a member of SAG-AFTRA.
