Eugene Hanrahan is a Partner in the Los Angeles office of Manning Kass. He is a member of the Governmental Entity Liability team.
Mr. Hanrahan’s practice specializes in defending law enforcement agencies from civil rights lawsuits. Prior to joining Manning Kass, he was a federal prosecutor in the Southern District of California, before working as a Deputy District Attorney in Los Angeles County for 21 years. During this time, Mr. Hanrahan successfully tried dozens of cases to verdict, including murder, domestic and sexual violence, and major fraud.
Mr. Hanrahan earned his Juris Doctor from the University of San Francisco School of Law, graduating cum laude, and his Bachelor of Arts in History from the University of Pennsylvania. He is admitted to practice law in California and before the United States Court of Appeals for the 9th Circuit, United States District Court for the Central District of California, and the United States District for the Southern District of California.
