Evgenia Jansen is a Partner in the San Francisco office of Manning Kass. She is a member of the Catastrophic Liability Defense and Retail, Restaurant, and Hospitality Litigation teams.

Ms. Jansen focuses on general civil litigation with an emphasis on premises liability, product liability, third-party criminal acts, and automobile matters, including catastrophic injury and wrongful death cases. Among Ms. Jansen's current clients are several Fortune 500 companies in the retail and restaurant industries.

She received her undergraduate degree, summa cum laude, from San Francisco State University and her Juris Doctor from the University of Wyoming College of Law. As a law student, she had an internship as a judicial clerk with the Second Circuit Court of Albany County, Wyoming. She also assisted with the administration of the Drug Court program.

She is a recipient of several merit-based awards and scholarships. She is a fellow of the Berry Fellowship, an environmental fellowship designed to assist other countries with the improvement of their environmental laws. As a fellow, she traveled overseas and worked on projects.

Ms. Jansen has previously worked at another insurance defense law firm in the Bay Area. She also has prior experience working in an immigration law firm.

Ms. Jansen is fluent in Russian and Serbo-Croatian languages. She has a working knowledge of Spanish, Turkish, and Ukrainian languages. Among other things, she enjoys movies, travel, and tennis. She plays piano and some guitar.
