Isha Gulati is an Associate in the Los Angeles office of Manning Kass. She is a member of the Class Action and Mass Torts Defense, Government Entity Liability, Insurance Coverage / Bad Faith, Premises Liability, Product Liability, School Civil Liability, and Special Investigations Unit / Insurance Fraud teams. 

Ms. Gulati graduated with dual degrees in Bachelor of Business Administration and Law, and Legum Baccalaureus from Guru Gobind Singh Indraprastha University, New Delhi, India (Juris Doctor equivalent). She graduated from her graduate studies with First Division, which is equivalent to magna cum laude. Thereafter, Ms. Gulati clerked with Hon. Justice Ms. Sangita Dhingra at Delhi High Court and later represented and advised pro bono clients in all aspects of civil litigation in New Delhi as an independent legal practitioner. 

Ms. Gulati received her Master of Laws degree from the University of California, Berkeley School of Law, with dual certificates of specialization in Law and Technology and Business Law. Ms. Gulati was awarded Pro Bono Honors with the Highest Distinction for her contribution to society during her legal education at Berkeley. Ms. Gulati worked as a law fellow at California Lawyers for the Arts and as a research assistant to Erik Stallman, Associate Director of the Samuelson Law, Technology & Public Policy Clinic, where she assisted in examining datasets used in training artificial intelligence systems. She also worked as a Law Fellow for the California Lawyer for the Arts, where she assisted low-income artists in pro bono matters relating to intellectual property and nonprofit corporations. During the pandemic, Ms. Gulati volunteered as a data protection officer at Virufy.org and helped to ensure mobile COVID-19 detection tools’ compliance with the laws of the United Kingdom, Brazil, and the United States, by drafting privacy policies, cookie policies, and DPIA. 

Before joining the firm, Ms. Gulati worked as an insurance defense attorney at a boutique law firm in Fresno, California, where she represented insurers, government entities, and school districts in a variety of premises liability, sexual abuse, and negligence cases. 

Ms. Gulati is admitted to the State Bar of California and the Fresno County Bar Association. Her admission to the New York State Bar is currently pending. Ms. Gulati is also admitted to the Bar Council of India.
