James "Jimmy" Harris is a Partner in the Los Angeles office of Manning Kass. He is a member of the Premises Liability team. 

Mr. Harris represents organizations and individuals in both state and federal court. Prior to joining the firm, he was a public entity defense litigator in highly sensitive matters. 

Mr. Harris earned his undergraduate degree in Organizational and Leadership Communications from Dixie State College before starting law school. He graduated from Thomas Jefferson School of Law. Mr. Harris established a boutique law firm in San Diego, California, serving students who qualified for special education in public schools. 

Before entering law school, Mr. Harris worked with the deaf and hard-of-hearing communities as an American Sign Language interpreter. Mr. Harris is also fluent in Spanish after living in Mexico for multiple years.
