Jeffrey A. White is a Partner at Manning Kass in the Los Angeles Office. He is a member of the Complex Litigation Team.

Mr. White received his Bachelor of Arts in Political Science from the University of California, Santa Barbara. He received his Juris Doctor from Golden Gate University School of Law, where he graduated in the top third of his class and was awarded the University’s Litigation Certificate with distinction. He also served as an Articles Editor for the Golden Gate University Law Review and published an article during his second year as a member of the Law Review, Standing Committee on Discipline v. Yagman: The Ninth Circuit Provides Substantial First Amendment Protection for Attorney Criticism of the Judiciary, 26 Golden Gate U. L. Rev. (1996). While attending law school, Mr. White served as an Extern for both the San Mateo County Superior Court and the Special Prosecutions Unit of the San Francisco District Attorney’s Office.

Before joining the firm, Mr. White worked primarily as a civil litigation attorney, practicing in the areas of general liability defense, construction defect, environmental law and insurance coverage. His prior experience includes serving as a Senior Associate with civil litigation firms for nearly two decades, as well as practicing as an associate attorney earlier in his career. Most recently, he has practiced as an attorney in private practice.

Mr. White has represented developers, contractors, design professionals, and homeowners in complex construction defect matters and handled general liability cases, including bodily injury and wrongful death claims. He also has substantial experience in environmental litigation and regulatory oversight, as well as appellate work, including oral argument before the California Court of Appeal.

Mr. White is admitted to the California State Bar and the United States District Court, Central District of California.
