Joana Y. Coloma is an Associate in the New York Office of Manning Kass. She is a member of the Special Investigations Unit / Insurance Fraud Litigation and Workers' Compensation teams.

Before joining Manning Kass as a first-year attorney, Ms. Coloma interned with the firm during her second year at Syracuse University College of Law.

While in law school, she was Vice President of the Animal Legal Defense Fund Syracuse Chapter, a member of the Latin American Law Student Association, a Student Ambassador, and a Peer Mentor. During her last two years, Ms. Coloma also defended tenants in Housing/Eviction Court and as a result, received the 2019 Pro Bono Champion Award. In her final year, she was a Student Attorney in the Family Rights Clinic.

She is currently a member of the NY State Academy of Trial Lawyers. In her free time, she plays tennis and volunteers at an animal shelter.
