Paul J. Abelkop is an Associate in the Dallas office of Manning Kass. He is a member of the Insurance Coverage / Bad Faith Team.

Mr. Abelkop received his Bachelor of Arts in Neuroscience & Behavior from Columbia University. He was a member of the Dean's List for academic achievement for several semesters and was a member of Sigma Phi Epsilon fraternity and freshman Lightweight Rowing Team. Prior to attending law school, Mr. Abelkop researched neurobiology at U.C. San Diego and Rockefeller University and was a research analyst for Dr. Arthur Laffer.

After his foray into neuroscience and economics, Mr. Abelkop received his Juris Doctor from Southern Methodist University Dedman School of Law. He served as president of the Intellectual Property Organization and was a pupil for the Barbara M. Lynn Inn of Court.

Mr. Abelkop is admitted to the Texas State Bar, the United States District Courts for the Eastern, Northern, Southern, and Western Districts of Texas, and the United States Court of Appeals for the Federal Circuit.
