Manning & Kass Adds Seventh Nationwide Location; Opens Dallas Office

Manning & Kass, Ellrod, Ramirez, Trester LLP is proud to announce the opening of its Dallas office. Led by partners Erwin A. Nepomuceno and David R. Reeder who have relocated from the Los Angeles and San Diego offices, respectively, the firm’s expansion sets out to meet client demands for high-level law firm service in the region.

Nepomuceno is the leader of Manning & Kass’ Workers Compensation Team and co-leader of its Military and Veterans Law Team. He began his legal career practicing insurance defense before specializing in the area of workers' compensation defense against accepted and fraudulent claims. He is admitted to practice in Texas and California, and received his bachelor’s degree from the University of California, Irvine (1985). He earned his J.D. from Loyola Law School (1989) while serving as a non-commissioned officer with an infantry unit in the United States Marine Corp Reserves. Nepomuceno was named a Super Lawyer from 2005–2006 and 2013–2015, and also served as president of the California Workers' Compensation Defense Attorneys Association in 2015. He is a first generation Filipino American immigrant.

Reeder has successfully litigated and tried, in multiple jurisdictions, a wide range of complex, multi-million dollar cases in the areas of: Construction Defect, Personal Injury, Insurance Bad Faith, Fraud, Product Liability, Eminent Domain, Land Use, Breach of Contract, Business Disputes and Homeowner Association Disputes. Whether it is trial or settlement, Reeder uses all of the tools of the litigation process to produce the best outcome, at the best time, for his clients. He regularly speaks to businesses, insurance professionals, lawyers and other groups on topics ranging from effective case management techniques to the defense of design professionals in order to help his clients prepare for and navigate the real-life experience and risks of trial by jury. He is admitted to practice in Texas, Arizona, California and New York. Reeder received his bachelor’s degree from Santa Clara University (1998) and his J.D. from Arizona State University, College of Law (2003).
