• Jason J. Doshi works in the San Diego office of Manning & Kass and is a member of the Workers’ Compensation practice. He works closely with employers and claims examiners to develop unique litigation strategies, which result in cost-effective, yet aggressive, defense of workers’ compensation claims. He has handled hundreds of cases from start to finish. Additionally, he was named a Rising Star from 2015-2017 by Super Lawyers Magazine. 

 

• Emily C. Edwards works in the Los Angeles office of Manning & Kass. She is a member of the Workers’ Compensation practice and is also the leader of the Military and Veterans Law practice. She has a wide range of experience in workers’ compensation, representing everyone from insurance carriers to employers to public entities. She routinely conducts webinars and presents at conferences around the country, speaking on the intricacies of California workers’ compensation law. 

 

• Robert E. Murphy works in the Los Angeles office of Manning & Kass. He is a member of the Health Care Liability, Government Entity Liability, Hospitality, and Employment Law practices at the firm. Mr. Murphy has tried more than 45 jury trials to verdict. He was named a 2005 and 2006 Super Lawyer by Law & Politics Magazine, which distinguished him among the top 5% of insurance defense lawyers in Southern California. He has written several articles and given presentations to the insurance defense industry on a variety of subjects.

 

• David R. Ruiz works in the Los Angeles office of Manning & Kass. He is a member of the Appellate Law (Strategy, Writs, & Appeals) practice and Complex Litigation Team. He is no stranger to high-stakes litigation as, throughout his career, he has participated in a large number of multi-million dollar exposure cases. Additionally, Mr. Ruiz is well-versed in all aspects of the evaluation and defense of first and third-party SIU claims and is constantly working on developing new legal avenues to pursue those who attempt to defraud insurance companies. Outside of the office, Mr. Ruiz is an Adjunct Associate Dean at Glendale University College of Law, where he has been teaching since 2006.
