San Diego Defense Verdict in Three Car Collision

On April 12, 2017, John D. Marino and Rockey Goodell received a defense verdict in an auto liability claim, after a week and a half trial against a well-known San Diego plaintiff's-side firm.

The case involved a three car auto accident with contested liability regarding to who struck who first and number of times plaintiff’s vehicle was struck. The middle car settled out prior to trial.    

Notably, Plaintiff displayed pain and discomfort throughout the trial and on the stand testified she had been unable to pick up her children due to her injuries. The Manning & Kass defense team presented sub rosa footage contradicting the veracity of her statements.

Plaintiff's attorneys, in their closing argument, demanded $750,000. The jury deliberated for a little more than two hours before returning a 11-1 defense verdict.
