Jacob A. Ellenhorn is an Associate in the Orange County office of Manning Kass. He is a member of the Complex Litigation and Landlord / Tenant / Habitability teams.
Mr. Ellenhorn received his Bachelor of Arts in Communication from the Annenberg School for Communication and Journalism at the University of Southern California. He graduated magna cum laude and as a member of the Phi Beta Kappa honor society. At USC, Mr. Ellenhorn was a member of the Dean’s List for outstanding academic achievement and was elected by his peers to serve as a Student Senator on the university’s Undergraduate Student Government. Mr. Ellenhorn received his Juris Doctor from the Dale E. Fowler School of Law at Chapman University. During law school, Mr. Ellenhorn spent two years working as a Mediator at the Chapman Mediation Clinic, mediating cases for the Orange County Superior Court.
Mr. Ellenhorn was a Judicial Extern in the Los Angeles Superior Court for the Honorable Dean Hansell. He also externed at the Harriett Buhai Center for Family Law, where he helped indigent litigants navigate the complexities of the California court system.
Before joining the firm, Mr. Ellenhorn worked as a Family Law attorney at a law firm in Newport Beach, California, where he managed high conflict cases involving complex financial matters. He is passionate about conflict resolution and the intricacies of complicated litigation.
