Mark A. Simpliciano is an Associate in the San Diego office of Manning Kass. He is a member of the Premises Liability team.
Mr. Simpliciano received his Bachelor of Arts in Political Science from San Diego State University and was part of the Phi Eta Sigma National Honor Society. He received his Juris Doctor from California Western School of Law, where he received several award recognitions, including a Dean’s Scholarship for his academic success and the Kulia I Ka Nu’u Scholarship for his commitment to service and his culture. During his time at California Western, Mr. Simpliciano was President of the school’s Pride Law student organization and an Associate Writer for the school’s Law Review. His article, “Recognizing ‘X’: A Comparative Analysis of the California Gender Recognition Act,” was published in the California Western Law Review Journal. As an alumnus, Mr. Simpliciano was awarded the California Western School of Law’s Rising Star Award for his impact in the legal community.
Before joining the firm, Mr. Simpliciano has been in civil litigation for the last five years, handling matters involving employment law, business litigation, and general liability — with experience representing both individuals and small businesses. Mr. Simpliciano has also devoted his time to serving his community and serves as Co-President of the Tom Homann LGBTQ+ Law Association and serves on the Board of Directors for the Filipino American Lawyers of San Diego. Given his commitment to service and the legal profession, Mr. Simpliciano was awarded the New Lawyer Award by the San Diego County Bar Association.
During his free time, Mr. Simpliciano enjoys being active, playing tennis, and traveling, and he is a devoted foodie.
