Los Angeles Times Recognizes Manning Kass, Trisha E. Newman

In its latest edition of their magazine, Business of Law: Trends, Updates and In-House Counsel Leadership Awards Recap, the Los Angeles Times recognized Manning Kass and Los Angeles Of Counsel Trisha E. Newman. 

The newspaper's annual list of Top Law Firms of Los Angeles placed Manning Kass 26th in its 2023 edition. The annual publication assembles a list of the 100 leading law firms in Los Angeles County. The list is ranked by the number of attorneys in Los Angeles County offices. To compile the list, B2B Publishing surveyed local, regional, and national law firms and asked them to provide information about the number of attorneys and practice groups in their local offices. Additionally, the newspaper held its annual In-House Counsel Awards night, where Los Angeles Of Counsel Trisha E. Newman was recognized as a nominee in the Rising Star category. From a large group of submitted candidates, Ms. Newman was one of eight selected as a Nominee for Rising Star. The evening recognized individual attorneys in a variety of categories, including from firms of all sizes, from public and private sector firms, and more. 

Ms. Newman is a member of the Appellate Law (Strategy, Writs, & Appeals) team. She advises on corporate and privacy law, which includes CCPA and GDPR compliance. She represents a variety of small businesses and sports companies as general counsel, with a focus on tax-exempt organizations. Ms. Newman’s representation includes both transactions and litigation, including appellate matters in both state and federal courts.
