Manning Kass Names Five New Partners

Manning Kass is proud to announce the promotion of five of our attorneys to partner: Sean Dowsing and G. Craig Smith from their Orange County office, Emily I. Ellse from their San Diego office, and Jonathan Hack and Eric Wahrburg from their New York Office.

Mr. Dowsing serves as the firm’s Construction Law Practice Leader. He advises owners, contractors, subcontractors, and architects/engineers in transactional matters and litigation. His litigation practice includes defects, breach of contract, changed conditions, delays, and professional liability.

Mr. Smith is a member of the firm’s Governmental Entity Liability, Employment Law, and Premises Liability practices. He has tried multiple cases to verdict and argued before the California Court of Appeal in the published decision Santa Ana Police Officers Association vs. City of Santa Ana. 

Ms. Ellse is a member of multiple practices and represents an array of businesses and employers. She provides productive, individually suited advice to her clients to help correct current, past, and potential shortcomings in the workplace, including privacy compliance.

Mr. Hack is a member of the firm's Construction Defect, Premises Liability, Trucking and Transportation and Insurance Coverage/Bad Faith practices. He has handled many high-exposure construction defect, premises liability, and motor vehicle accident matters for well-known clients. 

Mr. Wahrburg is a member of the firm’s Insurance Coverage/Bad Faith and Appellate Law practices. He specializes in appellate practice on insurance defense matters and has successfully argued several cases before the various appellate courts of the State of New York.
