Andrea K. Kornblau is a Partner in the Los Angeles office of Manning Kass. She is a member of the Governmental Entity Liability team.
Prior to joining the firm, Ms. Kornblau clerked for the State of California Department of Justice, Office of the Attorney General in the Civil Law Division, Business and Tax Section. She also held a paralegal position with a large global law firm, where she played an integral role on a wide range of complex and high-stakes cases in federal and state courts; including in the areas of toxic tort, land use, securities fraud, and insurance coverage. Ms. Kornblau held positions with two additional AV-rated defense firms, focusing on litigation practice groups, where she developed excellent trial preparation and motion writing skills.
Ms. Kornblau earned her Juris Doctor from Thomas Jefferson School of Law. While in school, Ms. Kornblau earned a CALI Award for California pre-trial preparation; a Jefferson Medal for California pre-trial preparation; and a Witkin Award of Excellence for advanced mediation, negotiation, and theory, and California pre-trial preparation. She was also a Superior Court mediator, and a member of the Environmental Law Society, and Public Interest Law Foundation. Ms. Kornblau received a Bachelor of Arts in international relations from the University of San Diego, where she served as the director of corporate relations for the Associated Students’ Leadership Team, and cheerleading team captain. In her free time, Ms. Kornblau enjoys playing polo and is an accomplished equestrian.
